So taking into account that if the printer was ~$150, the genuine toners are ~$60 so it would make sense that it is a full toner, disregarding the ridiculous price of a replacement drum. From what I have seen, at least in W.A., they were at that price for ages and have only come down to prices like $89 and now on sale for this price in the last few months or so. I'm pretty sure they estimate that on like 5% page coverage too which is pretty low.īack when I bought my original printer I got it on sale at Tandy for ~$65 as they were clearing them out for some reason, but most other places had them for ~$150. This was regular printing of assignments etc. The estimated pages for a full 2130 toner is 1,500, I'm pretty sure we got at least 2,500 out of the toner that came with the printer first time round so I'd have to say it is a full toner, not a starter. No doubt some brands do this but I'd have to disagree on this particular printer. I remember seeing them going for $99 at Officeworks, then dropped to $89 and now dropped even further to $64.77!! great price and plenty in stock!!!
